US-mainstay Phill Celeste AKA Life On Planets lands on Palm Recs for the first time this September with Stay/Real High Key. Stay remixes will follow the release in October and November, courtesy of Demuja and DJ Holographic.

Life On Planets spoke about what the EP represents, stating: “Stay/Real High Key is a return to form focusing on grooves, storytelling and the raw feeling of live music. I recapitulate moments from the past and transmute them into fuel to create a brighter future.”
That nostalgic sense is felt right from the offset, as Stay begins with funky guitar riffs residing atop driving kick-hat combos. Phill’s feel-good vocals feature throughout, whilst swinging synths create that signature upbeat feel. Real High Key completes proceedings, taking the form of a gentle pop cut. It’s groovy, reflective and devilishly danceable, three traits that have come to epitomise Phil’s music in recent times.
